Projekt jako systém a jeho řízení

Project as a System and its Management

Jiří Skalický, Jiří Vacek, Marek Čech, Martin Januška

Acta Informatica Pragensia 2017, 6(1), 4-19 | DOI: 10.18267/j.aip.962379

The contribution aims to describe project as a system, to define project control goal and strategy, control variables and their relationships. Three common control variables represented by the project triangle, are extended by two other important variables - project risk and quality. The control system consists of two components: social one - project manager and project team - and technical one - project dynamic simulation model as a decision making support of project manager in project milestones. In the project planning phase, the project baseline with planned controlled variables is created. In milestones after project launch, the actual values...

Bitcoin System

Jan Lánský

Acta Informatica Pragensia 2017, 6(1), 20-31 | DOI: 10.18267/j.aip.977025

Cryptocurrency systems are purely digital and decentralized systems that use cryptographic principles to confirm transactions. Bitcoin is the first and also the most widespread cryptocurrency. The aim of this article is to introduce Bitcoin system using a language understandable also to readers without computer science education. This article captures the Bitcoin system from three perspectives: internal structure, network and users. Emphasis is placed on brief and clear definitions (system components) and their mutual relationships. A new system view of the stated terms constitutes author's own contribution.

Metody sledování projektu v kreativním prostředí

Methods for Project Tracking in Creative Environment

Eva Šviráková

Acta Informatica Pragensia 2017, 6(1), 32-59 | DOI: 10.18267/j.aip.988393

The objective of this paper is to design new alternative methods for project tracking in creative industry environment. One of the research method is system dynamics modelling. A dynamics model accepts problems which were identified based on qualitative research and assessed using the system thinking method. A system dynamics model contains a project reference mode which correctly and provably expresses the planned and actual project development in terms of scope and budget. Reference mode of the project was discovered on the basis of Earned Value Management method modification. System dynamics modelling suitability is demonstrated on a case study...

Systémový přístup k vědeckému zkoumání v informatice

Systems Approach to Scientific Investigation in Informatics

Stanislava Mildeová, Martin Dalihod

Acta Informatica Pragensia 2017, 6(1), 60-69 | DOI: 10.18267/j.aip.991913

The level of informatics development is causally linked to the level of scientific development in the area. Successful scientific work is based not only on the investigative style of thinking, but it also means to think in context and to see the whole setting of the solved research problem - to be able to apply system approaches. System approaches include System Dynamics; a community practicing system dynamics has become the strongest school of system approach with many members of the academic environment as well as from real life practice. The aim of the article is to show the possibilities of system dynamics models as appropriate tools to support...

Transcendentální rozměr skutečnosti a systémy

Transcendental Dimension of the Reality and Systems

Miloš Vítek

Acta Informatica Pragensia 2017, 6(1), 74-85 | DOI: 10.18267/j.aip.1011905

Transcend (origin Latin transcendere = climb) means go beyond or exceed the limits of something abstract, esp. be beyond the range or grasp of human experience, reason, belief etc. Also be above and independence of, esp. of God exist apart from the limitations of the material universe. Surpass, excel or exceed in a special quality or attribute. Adjective transcendent denotes what is surpassing or excelling others of this kind, supreme beyond the range of human experience, reason, belief etc. In scholastic philosophy higher than included in any of ten Aristotle's categories, in Kantian philosophy something not realizable in experience, in mathematics...

Systémový a procesní přístup v metodě RIPRAN

System Approach in RIPRAN Method

Branislav Lacko

Acta Informatica Pragensia 2017, 6(1), 86-93 | DOI: 10.18267/j.aip.1022427

The article describes reasons, principles for design, structure and using of RIPRAN method (Risk Project Analysis) for risk project analysis. The RIPRAN method is used to identify, quantify risks, and design proposals that reduce risk in the project to increase the likelihood of successful completion of the project. The method uses a system and process approach to risk analysis and respects international ISO standards that recommend how to perform a high-quality risk analysis of the project. The method has been incorporated into the national standard of the Czech Republic among the recommended knowledge for certified project managers. The third version...
