Současný stav používání agilních metodik ve světě a v ČR

Current State of Agile Methodologies Worldwide and in the Czech Republic

Martin Tománek

Acta Informatica Pragensia 2015, 4(1), 4-17 | DOI: 10.18267/j.aip.483088

The objective of this research paper is to compare the current state of agile methodologies in the world and in the Czech Republic. The comparison is executed as the comparative analysis of two publicly available researches conducted in 2013 and published in 2014. The comparison is further enriched by the results of the unpublished survey in the global logistics company which was conducted also in 2013. The potential trend for agile methodologies in the Czech Republic is also discussed with regard to the worldwide trend.

Measures of Quality in Business Process Modelling

Radek Hronza, Josef Pavlíček, Richard Mach, Pavel Náplava

Acta Informatica Pragensia 2015, 4(1), 18-29 | DOI: 10.18267/j.aip.573696

Business process modelling and analysing is undoubtedly one of the most important parts of Applied (Business) Informatics. Quality of business process models (diagrams) is crucial for any purpose in this area. The goal of a process analyst's work is to create generally understandable, explicit and error free models. If a process is properly described, created models can be used as an input into deep analysis and optimization. It can be assumed that properly designed business process models (similarly as in the case of correctly written algorithms) contain characteristics that can be mathematically described. Besides it will be possible to create a...

Generated Report of the ORD BORM Model

Jakub Tůma, Marek Pícka, Petr Hanzlík

Acta Informatica Pragensia 2015, 4(1), 30-43 | DOI: 10.18267/j.aip.582430

This contribution focuses on documentation of model-to-model transformation, respectively on converting model represented by BORM notation (Business Object Relation Modelling) to a HTML-based textual report. The transformation is from the management-level business process model into the operation-level business process model. The operation-level model should be textual and tailored for each individual participant. This article introduces a modular extension of OpenCASE software that utilizes OpenCASE knowledge base and API to generate textual reports automatically. This report is based on HTML language, because of the portability and easy distribution...

Context Sources and their Processing in Company Security

Libor Měsíček

Acta Informatica Pragensia 2015, 4(1), 44-51 | DOI: 10.18267/j.aip.592854

This article deals with the problem of critical employees' oversight. In the article is proposed set of processes which can with cooperation with Data Mining and Ambient Intelligence, in some cases, predict behaviour and movement of monitored objects/people based on reasoned context from set of different sources. The difference between prediction and observed reality can be evaluated and based on rules and gathered information about context can be taken action to prevent security breach and damages to the company. At the end a case scenario is presented which demonstrate behaviour of the system and possible options how the system can prevent damages...

Hodnocení Web GIS aplikací a nástrojů pro jejich tvorbu pomocí AHP

Evaluation of Web GIS Applications and their Development Tools Using AHP

Miroslav Pásler

Acta Informatica Pragensia 2015, 4(1), 52-63 | DOI: 10.18267/j.aip.601977

The Analytic hierarchy process (AHP) is a widely used approach in the field of decision making, evaluation and group decision making processes. It is popular especially for its specifics related to consistency of an evaluator's decisions and an approach to decomposition of a certain problem. AHP and its forms are also exploited in the area of geographic information systems (GIS) while solving variety of multiple problems. In this article the role of AHP is a method of determining a set of criteria and weights of the criteria of evaluating Web GIS applications which are presenting points of interest and of evaluating the development tools. Within the...

Traffic Accident, System Model and Cluster Analysis in GIS

Veronika Vlčková, Pavel Hrubeš

Acta Informatica Pragensia 2015, 4(1), 64-79 | DOI: 10.18267/j.aip.612395

One of the many often frequented topics as normal journalism, so the professional public, is the problem of traffic accidents. This article illustrates the orientation of considerations to a less known context of accidents, with the help of constructive systems theory and its methods, cluster analysis and geoinformation engineering. Traffic accident is reframing the space-time, and therefore it can be to study with tools of technology of geographic information systems. The application of system approach enabling the formulation of the system model, grabbed by tools of geoinformation engineering and multicriterial and cluster analysis.

Influence of Organization Management on Systems of Performance Measurement and Management Control

Zora Říhová

Acta Informatica Pragensia 2015, 4(1), 80-89 | DOI: 10.18267/j.aip.622751

This article is focused on investigating the influence of organization management on Performance Measurement Systems (PMS) and Management Control Systems (MCS). The goal of the paper is to draw attention to the fact that designing PMS the validity of which could not be disputed, needs to correctly determine the organization structure and the role competences. In the example of matrix structures are shown some of the difficulties that may distort the results obtained from these systems. PMS + MCS is to be created after a thorough critical analysis of the organizational structure and set competences.

Usability of Public Administration Electronic Forms

Miloslav Hub, Michal Chudoba

Acta Informatica Pragensia 2015, 4(1), 90-101 | DOI: 10.18267/j.aip.631826

This paper is focused on the testing and evaluating of public administration electronic forms from the usability point of view. Its objective is to design a suitable methodology for usability testing of electronic forms and their description and distribution to public administration information systems professionals. Firstly, methods of usability engineering are summarized and a suitable method for usability testing and evaluation of electronic forms is selected. Farther, the methodology of electronic forms usability testing that uses the selected method is suggested. In the last part of the paper the case study that uses the proposed methodology is...
